Storyline

Lancaster is a cinematic feature documentary recounting the challenges of aerial combat, relentless bombing missions and the battle for survival over the night skies of war-torn Europe.

With 38 interviews with the last of the’Bomber Boys’, Lancaster will marry rare and newly transferred archive material with extraordinary and ground-breaking air to air footage shot by renowned aerial photographer John Dibbs.

Lancaster documents the last voices of such a key generation of pilots, aircrew and ground staff, but allow their story to be given the scale, context and platform they deserve once and for all.
